BIOSOLUTE® agaroses are characterized by easy dissolution and rapid gelation as well as very low DNA fixation. Our high quality BIOSOLUTE® Agarose products are ideally suited for analytical and preparative routine methods in electrophoresis, such as separation of DNA and RNA fragments as well as PCR products, but also for protein electrophoresis, screening and blotting techniques.

Agarose Standard
For rapid routine separation of DNA and RNA fragments, for PCR products, plasmid preparation and for detection, cloning and transfer techniques.

For the rapid and safe removal of ethidium bromide from gel-staining solutions. Contains an activated carbon matrix, which quickly and easily removes >99 % of ethidium bromide. Each device can decontaminate up to 10 litres of gel-staining solution. After filtration, the decontaminated solution can be safely poured down the laboratory drain. The extractor funnel device fits most standard laboratory flasks and bottles (33 to 45 mm necks), and the unit includes a cap for storage between uses. Pack of 2

LLG-Agarose is ideal for routine separation of DNA and RNA fragments, as well as PCR products with electrophoresis. High transparency and low background of the agarose gel ensures clear and sharply defined bands.

This agaroses are suitable for routine analysis of nucleic acids. They combine tensile strength with low electroendoosmotic effects to achieve high resolving power for a wide size range of nucleic acid fragments. AG agaroses are also very environmentally friendly, being manufactured by a process which excludes organic solvents. Also available as low melting point agarose for nucleic acid recovery and enzymatic applications (Cat. No. 4.658 455) and as High Resolution PCR grade agarose for separation of small DNA fragments of up to 800 bp (Cat. No. 6.270 615). Other packing sizes on request.

The ready-to-use DNA markers run precisely and produce a sharp, well defined ladder. They are available in six molecular weight ranges. The MultiSUB series of horizontal gel units offers the most versatile solution for DNA and RNA agarose gel electrophoresis currently available. The tanks are injection molded and therefore leak free. They are equipped with high quality platinum electrodes. Each unit comes with a variety of gel tray sizes and colour coded combs providing high flexibility for the user. The casting dams supplied with the units offer a simple and leak free solution for casting the gels.
Gel size: 15 x 15 cm (W x L). This unit is ideal for restriction fragment analysis, sample prep or checking of high number of samples. The MultiSUB Choice offers a high degree of versatility. Two additional tray options are available: 15 x 7 cm and 15 x 10 cm.
